I think we may have ruined our sound system with this DVD ... WOW!, 2010-03-06 WOW! What more can I say?
THE best live DVD I have ever seen. The best band live that I've ever seen. Didn't get to go and see them when they did their tour, so was awaiting their DVD... and I was in no way let down.
The performance truly is amazing, which has left us watching it again and again.. and again. Perhaps the most played DVD in our house. And it's probably ruined our sound system too - we couldn't resist turning the volume up "higher and higher".
Includes all of their best songs. Camerawork is absolutely superb too. If you aren't a Killers fan before you see the DVD, you certainly will be by the time you've watched it. You will be watching in awe of their performance, or perhaps trying to match Brandon's stunning vocals.
Brandon is such an entertainer, not forgetting the fabulous Ronnie, Dave and Mark.
Included Live CD is also pretty good. However, I have to say that the atmosphere isn't quite the same.
Simply unbeatable! After this DVD, I have no doubt there will be EVEN more demand for tickets for their next tour (when will that be?)
Buy this DVD - you really will not regret it.

Pure class, 2010-03-01 Having been in the audience for the Manchester leg of this tour, it was thrilling to hear/see the set again - albeit on CD and DVD rather than in the flesh. This gig was the third time I had been to see PSB live, and if anything they seem to get better as the years go on. For a bloke past fifty, Neil Tennant bounds across the stage like someone half his age, while Chris Lowe escapes from his synthesizer pod at one point to do a little jig - getting the biggest roar of the night! With the surprising but welcome inclusion of mid-80s album tracks such as 'Why Don't We Live Together' and 'Two Divided by Zero', a rousing mash-up of Colplay's 'Viva La Vida' and the boys' own 'Domino Dancing' on the CD, as well as the 2009 Brit Awards performance with Lady Gaga and Brandon Flowers on the DVD, this is a great package and an essential purchase for all fans.

Madonna
Re live the Sticky & sweet experience., 2010-02-26 Quite possibly the most accomplished, finely tuned and breathtaking live spectacle ever concieved. What Confessions lacked this has in abundance, charisma, connection and fun. Shes produced the greatest live stage shows ever and this only serves to re-enforce that fact. Shes not the strongest singer, her moves nowadays are a little rusty but put all of it together and you have one mighty fine show worthy of any in her vast back catalogue of ground breaking tours. Many artists mimick her electro-pop tease shows of old but Madonna is an artist who prefers not to dwell. Continuing to evolve even this far into her career speaks volumes about her level of experience and professionalism, no wonder Kylie and Beyonce utilise her live formula to great effect. The production is top class as is to be expected from her, the visuals are stunning, the costumes changes as slick as oil and Madonnas presence is as ever to the fore, she manages to be part of a gigantic spectacle but remains firmly at the center of it, never once does she become consumed or out done by it or her troupe of expert dancers and acrobats. That takes a special person and im glad to say she pulls it off with ease. The songs are mainly from her Hard Candy album so a big urban theme runs through this show, especially the opener which see's Madonna cavorting in Givenchy dinner suite writhing around atop a candy pink Rolls Royce which drives to the end of the catwalk before her Royal Highness pushes it back! Weird! But good. There are as with all of her other tours seperate acts or themes which explore different cultures and ideas, we have Pimp, old school, gypsy and new rave all of which involve new tracks or reworks of old, its a shame the 2009 production of the same tour didnt make it to DVD as it had some cracking additions like a mash up of her huge hit Frozen and Calvin Harris's Not Alone and a mash up of her own Holiday with Everybody and an MJ tribute which was achingly cool, so of the 80's but poingnant too. Her old school segment for example see's Madonna paying tribute to her 80's underground roots, her past, that time in 1981 when artists hung out at cool clubs like Danceteria whilst Keith Harring and Jean Michel Basquait challenged the art world with bizarre graffiti and sculptures which reflected a more decadent time, it was exciting and good to see her paying homage to her friends whom are sadly no longer among us. The critics will always claim she cant sing, the jealous Kylie and Britney fans will always say they do it better but the real fact will always remain... Madonna has been doing this for decades and still sells millions of concert tickets around the globe whenever she tours, and that is a fact which speaks volumes. 3.5 million people in over 30 countries cant possibly be wrong can they? Or are we all to listen to a biased press? I know which i prefer to believe, my own judgement and after witnessing this live i can honestly say it was fantastic show.

Fab, 2010-03-03 A great reminder of a fabulous gig. Yes I'm a "real music" fan too. I'm not sure how good it will seem to anyone who wasn't there on one of the nights, but for me it was worth every penny. I'm going to watch it again tonight.

Radio 1's Live Lounge - Volume 4, 2010-02-16 This CD has a great mix of covers. I do prefer the first CD but there are a number of good songs on the second disc including The Script and Kelly Clarkson. If you are a Beyonce fan you are spoilt for choice but that doesn't mean that you'll like them all!
