This is a lovely CD for imaginative dancing/miming with children. My daughter loves it and spends time listening and hiding from the wolf, however her little friend (a 3 year old boy) got quite scared by the cat and wolf music and we had to turn it off.
We are really pleased with it though - sparks the imagination!

Fanastic mix of eastern European/middle Eastern type folky music. The band sound like they're really enjoying themselves on the upbeat numbers and great resistance is needed to keep yourself from getting up and having a quick bop. These are interspersed with beautiful haunting melodies and searing, mournful violin from Nigel Kennedy. There is only one track with full vocals, the rest don't need it. I have been totally addicted to this and hear a new element on each playing Anyone who likes a good tune will love this.

A brilliant album. Saw her at Sheffield Arena on the "Believe" tour and can't wait for the DVD. Beautiful voice, beautiful songs. Hope it's a big crossover hit (will surely be loved by fans of Celine Dion and Barbra Streisand as well as fans of light opera!(?)). Now 100% a fan! (Other CDs also great, particularly "Rejoice").

As said elsewhere, good ol' dinki di Oz Chuck Mackerras pulls it off again. At an age when the rest of us would be contemplating old folks' homes, Sir Charles produces a series of dazzling performances. These are some of Mozart's very best (the "Haffner" has long been a particular favourite of mine), and here they get superb treatment. The SCO's bright, lively performances and a very nice recording by Linn round it all off perfectly. Highly recommended.

I loved every minute of this.I had forgotten just how good the 1990 Rome concert was.Musical technicalities mean nothing to me,so i can enjoy this for what it is,... great entertainment. All three were on fine form, the behind the scenes of the rehersals were good and showed that the three were good friends and having fun together.it was interesting to see how Zubin Mehtar managed to get two separate orchestras playing as one. All in all, well worth buying.
