Dance Music At It's Best In The 90's, 2002-12-27 For all of you, who remember just like me, being at secondary school. These were the Hit's of the Day. Some pretty good complilation albums from the Now collection. It's worth having.
Now That's What I Call Music 30, 2009-02-04 I bought this as a Christmas present for my sister. She has a large collection of these CDs but is missing a few to make the complete set. Amazon is a great place to find older CDs in the series some of which are no longer available on the high street.
Compilation of Radio Favorites, 2009-08-11 I often have the problem of hearing a song I like on the radio, only to find out that I don't like the entire album, so compilations save me from wasting money. I enjoyed many of the songs on NOW That's What I Call Music 29, so I bought NOW 30.
I like:
1. Just Dance Lady GaGa
2. Womanizer Britney Spears
3. Keeps Gettin' Better Christina Aguilera
4. Let It Rock Kevin Rudolf
5. Heartless Kanye West
8. Rehab Rihanna
9. I Hate This Part The Pussycat Dolls
10. Sober P!nk 4:09 Album Only
12. About You Now Miranda Cosgrove 3:11 Album Only
13. Gives You Hell The All-American Rejects
14. Light On David Cook
16. Gotta Be Somebody Nickelback
17. Thinking Of You Katy Perry
I think what stands out about this collection is that it includes several genres, and not a bunch of songs that sound the same. You get electronica of Gaga, hip-hop of Kanye, pop rock of Pink, and that David Cook song that smacks of Chris Cornell, just to highlight a few of the differences.
The NOW compilations use the clean radio versions of songs, so I am able to listen to this music even with my son in the car. We recently took a road trip to the Black Hills, and brought a couple of our NOW CDs along - never got tired of the music.
