My niece was delighted with this CD for her birthday, it arrived on time and in good order

In the absence of a DVD version of Disney's seminal adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's colonial classic, this is superb. The images from the film immediately spring to mind and the songs don't really seem dated after all these years either - apart from the appalling cod Scouse accents of the vultures but that's Hollywood for you! - highly recommended for kids of all ages (and nostalgic adults too!)
 Not what I was expecting, 2009-06-09
Had the record of the Jungle Book as a child and remember loving it. Found that this CD has more of the soundtrack music rather than just the songs which is repetitive - guess I should have looked at it more closely! My daughter gets bored with it, although perhaps she'll enjoy it more when she's older (currently 15months).
Child at heart, 2009-07-19
This is brilliant music. Im 29 years old and find this amazing many laugh at me when i say i love this music but not long after they too are fans and singing along. The bear neccessities is a highlight uplifting song for anyone. As is the monkey song. Well worth it and at the price here its a bargain.

Ok, so the songs are great, but in order to get them you have to wade through all the incidental music, which to be honest has no real place on a CD designed for kids.
One listen and my daughter just can't be bothered with it, and who can blame her?
