Any lovers of the 80's will certainly want to add this to their collection.
Any lovers of A2A will have even more reason in order to relive this most exhilerating series.

Either you love Ashes to Ashes or you hate it. Or else you're going to get into the is it as good as, better than Life on Mars debate. I say who cares - they are both great but different!

Ashes to Ashes allows us to see a softer side to Gene Hunt and his staff. It has more humour and less of a hard edge. This doesn't make it any the less of a series.

Alex Drake can be an annoying character but she is beautifully played by Keeley Hawes and the addition of a female character allows for a sexual fisson between her and Gene Hunt. They clearly fancy each other, but will they ever get it together.....?

Series 2 has left us with the tantalising puzzle....she's in a coma in 1982, so how is the third series going to play out. Personally, I can't wait!
