This album has so many catchy tracks that you just want to get up and dance to! I love 'Remedy', 'Mathematics', 'New In Town', 'Click' and 'Meddle'. I love them all really.
A wonderful singer/song writer/artist, 2010-03-07
From what I've seen and heard, Little boots deserves all the credit she gets. As a true artist she's done it the hard way and good on her. Her songs are dripping with honesty and integrity and are as true as any poet. I'm sure she will continue to grow and become more successful. All I can say is well done, for all connoisseur's of electro/pop, highly recommended.

Ok so christmas came along and i ended up ordering 3 copies of this album one for my 18 year old son and 2 copies for his friends for christmas.
Anyway a week after christmas and it being played in my car, I have to say ive fell in love with Little Boots!
Already fond of her two singles new in town and remedy, i have to say this album has surpassed my expectations! Earthquake, Hearts collide, click and Meddle have to be my new favourites from little boots and ive been considering purchasing a extra copy for myself, seeming as though i keep borrowing it off my son!
My advice for anyone considering purchasing this album is give it a chance!
Little Boots electropop style has made this my favourite album buy of 2009!
Little Boots - Big star, 2009-11-09
I have known of Little Boots for a while, in fact since she was a member of Dead Disco and I have listened to a great many demos on her Myspace and Last FM pages. I am very please she is now getting the recognition she deserves because she is talented and original. Her style is her own which she has demonstrated by the various home recordings prior to the album release.
So for us who `knew' Little Boots the first album was eagerly awaited and we were hoping she would still keep her originality and not get produced to death. Fortunately she did not fall into this trap and has released a fine debut album which is full of catchy electro pop tunes.
"New in town" was a worthy first single although "Stuck on repeat", "Mathematics" and "Ghost" should definitely be released as singles, and particularly "Stuck on Repeat" as there are so many great remixes and other version both by Little Boots herself and others.
The best track on the album, in my opinion, is "Remedy" which is one of the best songs I have ever heard.
Little Boots has proved that she is indeed a true pop star and let's hope that she has much more material to be released. Her feet may be small butLittle Boots her heart is big.

am a forty something bloke who has not bought anything since the missions last album who happened to catch little boots on bbc eye player with the all time music great gary numan and was so impressd with her i bought her album the next day.it was like hearing toyah /wilde back in 81 .what a throwback my teenage niece thought i was sad but there you go i have turned into my dad!
