 One of the best annuals from Ministry Of Sound, 2009-12-06
This annual is definitely one of THE best Ministry Of Sound annuals of all time, it has the right mixture of the dance genre and will appeal to every fan of dance music.
Firstly dissapointed, but am growing into it nicely, 2009-12-18
Wasn't too sure at first as the music genre wasn't to my expectation, however, I've settled into it and am quite enjoying it now. Glad I stuck with it and my mates christmas present, well he'll have to do without this time.
 The Annual 2010, 2010-03-04
I bought both this and 'Ministry of Sound ONE' together - I must say I love ONE!
But I haven't touched 'The Annual 2010' once since the first day I bought it. Why? The songs are remixed. Some people may like the re-mixes, but many will find them quite annoying.
'Myinistry of Sound ONE' has the full song versions which are not tampered with, and I prefer that. There are some good songs on this album, but I don't like the way the tracks have been changed... a good example would be the first track on Disk 1: a beat goes on for litrally 1 min non-stop without anything else coming in... which is pointless... the track should have started at 1 min 10 sec. I know a lot of dance music is the same thing repeated over and over again, but they should still avoid it if they can.
Nostalgic, 2010-02-19
It's been 10 years since I last purchased a MOS annual. After going to Uni, I found dance music incredibly commercial and boring. However something convinced me to purchase this annual and I am so glad that I did. I've always enjoyed dance music but I don't go out looking for the underground sounds away from the mainstream. I like my dance to be accessible, just not cheesy and this album very much hints of the classic 98/99 trance vibe that pulled me in. With disc one I find myself floating away to Cafe del Mar and it leaves me feeling very nostalgic. Things kick up a little more in disk two and certainly more lively by disk 3! Disk 3 would be my least favourite but that's just down to personal preference, it's just a little to heavy in places.
For the first time since the millennium edition, I'm excited about dance music again. If, like me, you're clubbing highlights were the end of the last century and based on the euphoric trance sounds and you have become disconcerted over the years that it has been pushed out for a more "commercial vibe", this album takes a step in the right direction to returning to that form.
Classics sounds with a contemporary twist. And it works so well.
 Disappointed, 2010-01-30
After thoroughly enjoying the 2009 Ministry of Sound Annual I was looking forward to receiving the 2010 Annual. However I just haven't enjoyed it, there don't seem to be any outstanding tracks to me, it sounds more of Ministry of Sound Chill album, all very samey. Also the 2009 Annual contained a brilliant DVD with some stunning tracks and videos, another disappointing ommission from the 2010 annual.
