Not just Tom Jones, 2010-09-07 Ok I am not a great TJ fan I have only one other album, but hearing a track on Jonathan Ross just as I jumped in the car I was taken by one of thoes very rare moments of pure tingle the hairs on the back of the neck were well and truly tweaked.
Burning Hell - is 5 stars. outstanding. No I am not a coverted fan of Tom other work but this will be payed and payed and enjoyed. Just great.
Tom Jones, 2010-09-07 Bought the CD for my husband as he is in car a lot. He told me the CD did justice to Tom at the ripe old age of 70!
Praise & Blame, 2010-09-04 Tom in Johnny Cash mode - the voice great to listen to and first rate guitar work
awesome, 2010-09-07 I love this type of music. Very different from any of his earlier work. If you don't get goosepimples when listening to it, or at least be moved by it, I feel sorry for you.
Great listening, 2010-09-05 I have always rated Tom Jones, especially his original earthy stuff. I went off him a bit through his LV stage, but bought the album he made with Jools Holland and was pleased to hear the originality coming back. This album is just that, Tom Jones getting back to his roots. Its fantastic and there is not a track that I do not like. Not bad for an old 'un!
